Strategies used in Philadelphia and New Orleans to incentivize and promote a wide variety of green infrastructure projects will be coming to many cities, large and small, in the not-so-distant future. A strategy of widespread public greening, coupled with incentivized private sector engagement, would save taxpayer dollars while contributing to better development, air quality, and recreational benefits.
