No single municipal agency or non-profit organization can create a sustainable waste-to-wood program on its own. There are too many different steps, too many discrete tasks that need to be accomplished to transform waste into wealth.

The most useful partners will bring compatible missions to the project. They’ll differ from sector to sector — some will be social entrepreneurs, others may be conservation groups, tree care companies, utilities, architects, designers — even artists.
