The Town of Franklin sought to improve local water quality, as well as preserve and recharge groundwater resources while also saving money, by implementing green infrastructure in Town and private projects. The Town wanted to expand their use of green infrastructure through the development of a Town-wide implementation strategy. An implementation strategy was developed to provide a comprehensive approach for implementing green infrastructure through practices, programs, and policies.
